A Following That Responds - Social Media
I write for Parenting and Moms. It is amazing how simple things lead to a conversation. It is great that Moms have the time and energy to stop by and share their opinion. Makes one feel good when at the other end your right receptor is responding. This makes complete sense, have a small following; which is ok. Having a huge herd and having no replies is not working.
Some say the probability theory works here. If you have lots of people then higher is the probability of interaction. I would be happy ofcouse if that was the case. However with stereotype responses in single or double digit responding does not make too much sense.
It is better to have a few genuine in depth conversations rather than spreading thinly.
Well it also is an individual and business decision that matters. Sometimes the number only matters. Try looking for engagement. Try getting the right people talking. The spiral effect can be contagious.

Your One Post - Social Media
Your One Post. This is the story of one post, your one post that you put up on Social Media. Your efforts that you put out and then what happens to it!? Content is the King. Yes. To that King we have a kingdom. We have ministers, advisors, critics and blind followers. We also have espionage the traitors. We have warriors as well.
Your one post meets a lot of mindset within your range. Come along let's say hello to all.
- People who Ignore your post. This happens in two way:
- Ignore by ‘Who’ has given it. In the sense this person gives out useless stuff I will not look at it just scroll off.
- Ignore by ‘Content’. In the sense if politics is talked about one does not get into it by principle.
- Next we have the ones who like / comment for the sake of it. Shall I call them ‘Habitual’? They have this compulsive order [not disorder] to mention atleast one word in comments on your one post. [please at least take the effort to complete a thought my request to you, use a couple of more words please]
- Next we have the ones who like / comment the golden ones whom we should treasure the ‘Genuine Believers’ in the content you have shared.They may disagree or agree but they are genuinely interested in the matter written.
- Now we should not miss out on the ones who ‘Want To Be Seen With’. They would have left their mark in hope that the other people will associate with them for the sake of just being in accordance with the ‘Topic’ or ‘Person / Brand’ putting up the thought. This could be the main Author of the Post which is You or someone who has Commented on your Post with whom Shoulders are to be rubbed with. So get the point need not be You each time.!! Oh oh ! It was never your Post directly! But ofcourse logic states had it not been your post then this would have never happened…
- And we also have the ‘Genuine Believers part 2’ those who want to follow a topic , either learn from it , or get to know it better etc, want more ideas etc.

There are times when you need to give life to your already existing Post. When you want to share the same idea or thought process again. What do you do? One way is to simply Re-Post it! Voila! there you have it simple ain't it? Why go further.

Social Media - No ‘Hope You Are Ok’ Message To Loyal Customer Give Value Added Service In Lock-down
In times of lock-down 2020 we are now into April 23rd., what have you done in order to touch base with your Beloved Customer Base?
Have you tried to be in touch with them? Have you identified your Loyal Base still or are you saying that the office is locked so the CRM server is closed so no way to know who is the Loyal Customer. Thus you cannot keep in touch.
Or your IT person is not available so no way the CRM server can be started.
Does this make you realize anything?
You are as incapacitated as much as your server. This means in times like these when you could have offered a sensible service just not copy paste of ‘hope you are ok’ you could have given a value added service here you are stranded as ever.
Think about this. Think about what you missed.

Before you setup your blog remember to be clear on why you are creating the blog. Is it for friends and family viewing and interaction? Or is this for business. If it is for friends and family you, naturally, do not need to much of planning and strategy. On the other hand if it is for business then you do need a good strategy and planning.
There are a couple of parameters that you do need to keep in mind when you blog:
- Be transparent and sincere.
- Focus on your target audience and treat them as individuals.
- Remember it is not all about you, your problems and your rantings.
- Be a team player and understand you are part of the community.
- Treat people with respect.

Folks have started to suggest to their friends on what best to do and how best to justify sitting at home. Like do courses. Or perhaps join hobby sections et al.
What have you been doing? Zoom chat has become popular - this is Video Chat where group individual chat is feasible. So though you are at your own home you can still see and talk with each other at same time.
What's more, virtual happy hour also goes on thanks to Zoom. Do you have anything to say?
I get the feeling people may have connected more with people this time than what they usually did ofcouse via Social Media.

Social Media - Logos Way Ahead
A decision to tamper with the Logo is naturally not taken in a day. It is a lot of thinking. There is a lot of empathy built in here. This could also be a build up for the future path to bring in a lot of flexibility in the Logo. A Logo that was fixed and around which festivities were shown now could perhaps have festivities bursting out of it if everything goes well.
‘Never play with the Logo’ norm may be re-looked at from an angle of not distortion but yes from an angle of ‘spark, to construct the same and bring in conformity’
Well, Distance brings us closer. The single point of magnetic gravitational pull that gets all formations actually bursting from it but yet rooted still to it. The Connecting center of the Logo.

Social Media - A Site That Tells Your Age In Your Photo!
Microsoft engineers Corom Thompson and Santosh Balasubramanian developed the site to test out the company's new face-detection API. [API is Application-Programming Interface is simply a set of computer instructions that allows a program to interact with a website]. When they were testing their face-detection API, they were hoping for, at most, 50 respondents to use the technology. The response was overwhelming. More than 35,000 tried it just in the first few days to see if the site could guess their age and gender.
